I found my two favorite pairs of earrings, but I realized I lost my jump drive somewhere in Atlanta, probably in the back of a cab on one of the many occasions I dropped my purse*.
My jump drive has all of my writing from the last two and a half years on it. It has my CVs and resumes, and scores of other things. Most of this is also on my laptop, but a few things are missing:
All of my *terriblemother archives
A few drafts of my stories, including "Jacob in Relief" and "Notes to Self on the Appropriate Uses of Humor." I think, think, I still have my new draft of "Arvin, California."
If you have any of these pieces (WM? Friend Two?) email them to me, pronto.
Much appreciated, and a "funner"** entry later. Swear. Pinkie swear.
*I am a well-known klutz but I've never had it cost me my writing before. Damnation.
**That was for you, Stoic Writer. Chin up. Everything will be "alright."
